Jordan D. Utanski
Jordan is an attorney in the firm’s Miami Beach office and concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation, class action litigation, and general civil litigation matters.
Before joining Chase Law, he gained invaluable trial experience at a prominent Fort Lauderdale trial firm representing a wide variety of clients, ranging from high net-worth individuals to a federally recognized Indian Tribe. Jordan also previously practiced at a boutique class action firm in South Florida, where he litigated high-profile cases on behalf of individual and institutional shareholders against publicly traded companies in federal and state courts throughout the country. While primarily focused on securities fraud actions and shareholder derivative cases, Jordan also has extensive experience representing consumers in federal class actions for violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
While in law school, Jordan interned with the public companies and securities group of a national law firm in Fort Lauderdale, conducting due diligence and reviewing regulatory filings for various securities transactions and M&A deals. In 2011, Jordan graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Economics with a minor in Mathematics. In 2014, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, where he was a member of the Nova Law Review.
